Manchester City welcome Burnley to the Etihad Stadium in this FA Cup quarter final tie on Saturday 18th March, kick-off 5:45 PM.
However, the big talking point of the match is City legend and former captain Vincent Kompany returning to the Etihad Stadium as Burnley manager, as he hope his high flying Clarets can cause an upset in a competition famous for giant killings.
Here is how we think City will lineup in their FA Cup clash:
We fully expect Stefan Ortega Moreno to lineup in goal, continuing his fine run of form in-between the sticks for the Blues in the two domestic cup competitions.
Rico Lewis will perform the role of the the hybrid full back/midfielder, and we expect Nathan Ake and Ruben Dias to get the night off, which means we'll see John Stones and Manuel Akanji at centre back, with out of favour Aymeric Laporte at left back.
We also think there'll be an appearance for the lesser spotted Kalvin Phillips at the base of City's midfield. Bernardo Silva will provide the control and "pausa," whilst Julian Alvarez will playing in a forward/attacking midfield role, similar to Kevin de Bruyne.
Riyad Mahrez will lineup on the right wing, with rejuvenated Phil Foden on the left wing, giving Jack Grealish a rest.
Erling Haaland will be the lone striker, looking to get somewhere close to his sublime perfomance against RB Leipzig on Tuesday night.
This will leave Ederson, Kyle Walker, Ruben Dias, Nathan Ake, Sergio Gomez, Rodri, Kevin de Bruyne, Jack Grealish and Maximo Perrone on City's bench.
CMON CITY!!!
