Manchester City go into the first international break of the season top of the table, after another Erling Haaland hat trick helped the Blues secure another three points.
The Norwegian striker scored three brilliantly taken efforts to take his tally for the season up to seven already in just three games after his hat trick last week against Ipswich Town
Here are the player ratings from the victory against the Hammers:
Ederson - 7/10 - Distributed well and made a brilliant save right at the very end from Crysencio Summerville's effort.
Lewis - 8/10 - Solid defensive performance once again from Lewis, who got into good positions on the edge of the box and engaged in City's link up play in the final third, as evidenced by his assist for Haaland's second goal.
Akanji - 7/10 - Dealt with the physicality of Michail Antonio well and was accurate with his forward passing.
Dias - 7.5/10 - Despite his misfortune with the own goal, Dias nonetheless had a good game. leading the defence from the back and was superior in aerial and ground duels.
Gvardiol - 6.5/10 - Could perhaps have done more to prevent Bowen crossing for the West Ham goal, but was solid otherwise both on and off the ball.
Kovacic - 7.5/10 - Impressive once again at the base of midfield, with his alertness, intelligence and small space ability all seeming to have gone up a notch since the start of last season.
Bernardo - 8.5/10 - Got his second assist of the season with a good through ball to Haaland and was overall effective in the centre of midfield.
De Bruyne - 8/10 - Combined with Grealish really well on City's left, having many touches of the ball and looking a creative threat every time he touched the ball.
Doku - 7/10 - Good improvement from Doku, who had the beating of his full back every time and was unfortunate not to get an assist after De Bruyne's effort rattled the post.
Haaland - 10/10 - Was even more involved in the game itself than he usually is, and we can of course not forget his brilliant hat trick, with each goal seemingly a better finish than the last. Such a shame we have to sit through a week of pointless internationals to disrupt Haaland's building momentum.
Grealish - 7.5/10 - On his return to the team, Grealish looked aggressive and direct on the wing, whilst also maintaining his ball retention qualities.
Bench:
Gundogan - 7/10 - Helped slow the game down and see the win out for City. Very unfortunate to not have an assist for Haaland at the very end after playing an eye of the needle through ball.
Nunes - 7.5/10 - Arguably his best performance in a City shirt, Nunes was dynamic when he came on the pitch, proving he can be a more than useful squad player for City and rounding it off with a well deserved assist for Haaland to complete his hat trick.
Ake - 6.5/10 - Not much time to make an impact but had a few nice touches.
Walker - 6/10 - Gave the ball away in the build up for Summerville's chance and looked slightly off the pace, which is understandable considering he was playing his first few minutes of the season.
